This piece was created for the Amass Radiant Heretics broadcast on the 20th December 2020. This was a special streaming event for the winter solstice curated by Caleb Madden (amass.antivoid.solutions)

He wanted a longform piece that would work on the radio and I settled on this long pseudonarrative structure that relied heavily on my old Casio CZ101 for its sounds. I was intending on a piece that had an uneasy atmosphere and would evolve within that framework without losing its particular feeling.

The alto flute parts were provided by Chris Parfitt my longstanding musical partner in Noteherder & McCloud. As always I'm really appreciative of his contribution.
