This album is the result of an Invitation by photographer JJ Waller to provide some entertainment for the launch party of his exhibition in November 2019. I was to play for several hours in the basement of Dan Lee's house in a room visible through a plate glass slab in the floor and accessible solely by a small lift.

Originally it was intended that this should be a Spheress McCloud performance, but half of the act was away, so I played it solo, using some of my usual equipment, along with my collection of cassettes, an odd keyboardless synthesiser and an 80 minute field recording of a jungle clearing being swept. The path was clear to me, this was to be a long form set, slowly unfolding if almost static.

The performance was recorded and has been edited for random volume leaps, noisy pots, horrific errors and in the case of the final track for Bandcamp limits on length. The final track was effectively unattended being the self modulating last 4 minutes of the evening after most visitors had left and I was sipping a kindly supplied refreshing drink
