During the the first pandemic to alleviate the boredom I started to livestream doing the washing up. To keep things interesting for myself i started to run the sound of the washing up through a Gechologic Loopsynth while i streamed. As I listened I noticed that the looping created interesting rhythms and textures. Which reminded me of a collaborative music project I ran several years ago called The Jumping Piano Project which featured people making new tracks from the sound of a piano skipping on a record.

I decided to do another collaborative project using the looped sound of me washing up. After doing a Performance at a Spirit Of Gravity I was chatting with Dan about the project and he suggested releasing the project on the Spirit Of Gravity Bandcamp. I thought that was a pretty good idea rather than the album sitting on my Bandcamp page gathering digital dust
